Classes are the primary concept of the game. They dictate what the player can do at any given point in the match. The game currently features 8 classes, all with a unique mixture of capabilities, as well as a 9th classless aspect called Apprentice (also known as Average), which has a jack-of-all-trades style of game play, as well as some of its own unique strategies. Each class (that is, except Apprentice) is part of a Rock-Paper-Scissors style, such that each class has a strong and weak counter class, as well as a strong and weak countered class. (For example: Gladiator's frequent 1 power armors make most Paladin weapons break easily, as well as easily overpowering its shield and healing strategies.)
